Beaded Ash box with Burr Oak lid

Welcome to my website.
I am still relatively new to woodturning but I spend as much time as possible learning and refining the many woodturning techniques. I have a particular interest in using woods that I can ebonise or that have an open grain that will accept coloured wax.
I mainly use English and European hardwoods and sometimes African hardwoods which I buy from reputable suppliers who use sustainable sources.
My greatest honour to date was that in May 2023 a member of the Royal Household bought a couple of my pieces as Coronation presents for King Charles III. You can see the pieces, an 11" diameter spalted Hornbeam platter and 3" tall Burr Elm box with a loose fitting 'end grain' spalted Beech lid HERE
Please do take time to visit my on line shop (UK orders only). If you can't see what you're looking for or would like something made in a different wood, then please do contact me as I can always turn you another (please bear in mind that the grain will vary).
I have been recently selected as a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen which was founded in 1887 as the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society.
I am a member of Find a Maker, a platform and resource for a curated collection of makers and galleries.
